Do You Know Sci-Fi Film: R'ha?

R'ha is directed by a young 22 year-old German student, Kaleb Lechowski, who might just get himself a golden ticket to Hollywood production with his spectacular animation project. He had directed R'ha on his free time (7 months) and the result leaves many viewers speechless. Many movie company execs are no doubt hooked by his superb talent and I hope to hear of his success in the movie industry soon enough.

The story is about a cobra-liked alien with 4 limbs in the midst of an interrogation by a machine. The machine wishes to know the coordinate of his fleet. During the flashback, we learn that the alien's home planet had been defending the solar system from all sort of enemy. However, they were taken off guard when 80% of their own force, the machines, rose up and destroyed them. This alien's mission was to distract the machine away while his fleet hides. Unfortunately, he was captured and was tortured for information...

The machine had then told him that they had retrieved the necessary coordinates from the alien's spacecraft and would launch an attack at the alien's fleet. The alien somehow managed to escape and rushed back to his fleet to warn his people of the attack. Little did he know, it was all a trap. The machine had set him up. Purposely provoked him, let him escape, and tracked him.

This is truly an amazing project Mr. Lechowski had done. I hope to see him become a big star director later in the future. And then, I can proudly say to my grandchildren in 1000 years later that I am one of his early fans. How awesome is that? To witness the birth of a super director! Best wishes to Mr. Lechowski.

Play Arts Kai Review: Nero, Gabranth & Squall

I've decided to take the boys (Play Arts Kai) out to play in the snow. They are just so cool posing there. Besides, the lighting was perfect. I mean it brings out the cold atmosphere. I particularly like Nero's photos. His colors blend very well with the snow. They are the first who stepped on the virgin snow in my backyard.

Awesome Play Arts Gabranth and Nero posing. I lost Nero's sword in the woods (when I was photographing him among the autumn leaves... sad...). He just has his gun left which I forgot to put it on him. Still, we had a great time freezing our feet off. Gabrath's wicked swords posing.

Gabranth is very worthy for the same price as the other figurines. I mean his armor is just siiiick. Squall looks dull in comparison. But Squall has a special spot in my heart since he was the very first Play Arts Kai I bought myself. Then I was gifted Nero from Devil May Cry 4 by my amazing friends on my birthday. So they all have the same importance to me and I love them all equally. I'm like their mommy... or pimp. Hahaha.

Didn't I tell you? Nero's colors are fantastic with this lighting. It makes him so much more alive. His clothes look so real than he would look like a real man if I took a pic of him from far away.

Nero is like "I'm sexy and I know it." My beautiful boy~

Nero fell into the snow. So freaking cute. "Save me... woman... stop taking embarrassing photo of me in misery. My honor... what would Dante say?" Speaking of Dante, I really should get a Dante too... just to spike Nero. Troll Era Fey.

I nicknamed Squall the lost, pretty boy. He looks so confused. Gosh his blue eyes are so pretty. They are like... sparkling with life. So beautiful.

I was posing him with his gunblade when he toppled backward. Dayum...

And there you go. My harem of very expensive and gorgeous boys. I will be posing more photos of them in different places when I have the chance.

I also bought Jeanne (from Bayonetta) and Snow (from Final Fantasy) and will be reviewing them shortly. Stay tune for more Play Arts Kai reviews, or you can check out older reviews in the link below.

Misoya Sushi Review

Misoya is probably one of the most underrated Asian restaurants in Montreal. The food is extreeemely delicious. The outside doesn't look very attractive because of the part of a bigger store next door but you should never judge the book by its cover. My family went in there and booooyyyy, it's quite homey. It's tiny and cute. The waitress was very friendly. There was no other customer beside us so they dedicate all their love in their food. Result: very yummy.
They serve both Korean and Japanese dishes which are quite authenticated. We had bimbimbap, sushi and some udon tempura shrimp noodle soup (<---- definitely delicious. Must try it)

Delicious tea. It has a very 'beautiful' taste to it. I can't quite explain. It's just ... beautiful. The taste. I know it sounds weird but it was like a soft layer of creamy feel when you drink it. You have to try it yourself.
I know I say this many times already but the food is allll amazing. I have never been to a restaurant where I just want to eat every single thing and was sad that my stomach is tiny. The miso is very smooth. The tofu is carefully diced and the ingredients are well cut.

Ok enough of vintage photos. I didn't bring my camera so I used my dad's phone and I was like "oooOOhhhh it has cool features so we had fun trying those out. So the following pictures are not up to my usual quality. I like natural and pretty. Hohoho... I have an unhealthy love towards my camera. Kidding.

The sushi are very fresh and delicious. Having worked at a sushi franchise as cashier, I have my fair share of knowledge when it comes to quality and freshness. (Tips for freshness: to know if the sushi is good, look at the state of the avocados. If the avocados are beautifully green with no brown area, it's very fresh.)

The tempura shrimp is very crunchy and everything was just pure delicious. The sushi rolls are also well rolled (not loose. The ingredients are falling apart.) Overall sushi: A. I will definitely go back again.
I love how they decorated the wasabi. They made it looks like blooming flowers. Quite cute.

The green salad was okay. I am more fond of their wakame salad (below). The sauce they dipped the wakame in was sweet and yummy. Oh geez, I am getting hungry just by looking at all these pictures as I am typing right now (and I just ate!)

Don't let this soaky appearance disappoint you. It's soooo good. The tempura is so crunchy. The udon noodles are smooth like silk. I love it. Even though it's my little brother's meal, I kept stealing some when he wasn't looking. That's how good it is! I'm not even kidding. Next time when I go back, I am bringing in a crowd so that everyone can order something different and we can all try out their other meals. I bet they are alllll delicious. If you are in Montreal and have a love for Asian food, go to Misoya.
You won't regret it.

Do You Know about Camera Thermos Mug?

When I saw it on the Internet, it was like Love at First Sight. I had to have it. It was too beautiful and unique that I must have it. So my dad got it for me on my Birthday along with other gifts so I'm ubber happy. He bought it on DealExtreme for those who are interested. The shipping is free worldwide. My mug arrived after 6 weeks upon shipment. We thought the supplier had sailed it but on the package, it said it was air mail from Hong Kong... strange. Anyway, it's a lovely piece of work. I absolutely love it! The long wait is worthy.

I took the moment and parade my proud collection of Play Arts Kai figurines. To know more about where I got them, at what price, and how awesome they are: Click here!

I'm very satisfied with the thermos mug. It's very steady. The quality is very good. It looks so sick and cool. Even the little wordings of brands and details on the side of a regular camera zoom are there. I'm very, very impressed. I realized there are also different materials at hand here. There are plastic and some rubbery belts hugging it (the place you typically use to twist and zoom). Top notch details.
I showed it to many of my friends and they are all as impressed as me.
Really, this is a fantastic purchase and thank you dad for this magnificent gift. I love it.
Gonna bring it everywhere with me. I can troll people with it. Pretending to take a picture of them and go *Yao Ming meme* and drink from the lens just to mess with them. Wicked!
Again, I have to voice how much I love this cute mug.
Perfect for winter & hot choco.

The Hobbit Jokes in a Nutshell

So I finally watched the Hobbit after years of waiting since Lord of the Rings. I must say I am one of Peter Jackson's most avid fans. I love all the movies he directed. Anyhow, seriousness aside... time for some cracked jokes I found on Tumblr on the Hobbit... darn, I kept made typo mistake and type the Hottib. What is my mind trying to tell me? Mr. Freud, get back from your grave and tell me!

Like many fangirls, I too suffer a fictional crush on scumbag Thranduil and 3 hot dwarves: Thorin, Fili and Kili
Let me show you what I mean. Buckle up!

And I absolutely love the scene where the dwarves barged into Bilbo's hobbit hole. Ok that sounds wrong. I mean his house! I think I squealed my guts out in the cinema when I saw Fili and Kili. I was like "SOOOO these are the hotties I heard so much about on the Internet! OMG they are so cute!" *Fangirling*
BROMANCE!
Their face says it all.
Aaahhh Richard... what are we to do with youuu?

This is how I feel when I see Gandalf counting the dwarves after their adventure through the goblin mountain.
Technically this isn't the Hobbit but what the hell, it's funny.

And finally, I also believe this is what happened in the Hobbit... because seriously... that's how it looks like!
I will post more jokes when I find them. There are so many good ones I have to pick the best.
